After barre class the other day, my friend and I were talking about her upcoming bachelorette weekend. She, like many brides, was struggling to find something to wear for her bachelorette party. I can remember stressing about this very thing, and was inspired to write today’s post with styling ideas for the bride and her girls!
Shopping for an outfit to attend a bachelorette is the most fun in my book! Sometimes parties want the girls to wear a certain color, with the most popular being black. This is an excellent color for wearing out on the town, and usually easy to find in most stores. I rounded up some ideas for you to shop through! (PS I also include a cute pink romper just because who wouldn’t have fun in that.)
I had a harder time finding an outfit for myself, and this seems to be a common theme from most brides. I am here to let you in on a little secret, it doesn’t have to be a white outfit! You’re the bride so you can wear whatever you would want. Wear a bright color, sparkles, or white, just don’t stress. It’s suppose to be a fun time celebrating with your girls! Here are some outfit inspirations just for you!
I found the best skirt for my bridal shower from JCrew, and felt like Sarah Jessica Parker from Sex and the City in it! It was such a fun skirt, and I included it in the shopping options.
Another great option is looking through Rent the Runway. I found some great ideas with them, and for the year leading up to my wedding, joined their RTR Reserve program. This allowed for $30 dollar rentals, and you are only committed to at least 3 rentals. This is a great way to get some designer pieces at almost nothing. I loved my Kate Spade dress I wore for our engagement shower, and would rent it again!
Don’t let outfit picking be stressful, it’s suppose to be fun and this is a great time when you can experiment with some new styles! Happy Shopping!
