Friday Find: Our New Home!

Happy Friday! I am so excited to share for the Friday Find our new home! If you have followed my Instagram stories, then you know that we closed on our first home Wednesday. Over the past few days, we have moved some things here and there, but today is officially MOVE IN DAY!

I thought I would share some pictures, before we bought it (when doing some walk throughs), and then some pictures I took the first day to show you why I fell in love with this beautiful bungalow.

This house has so much charm, and that is exactly what we were looking for! The couple who renovated this 1930 home, put so much hard work to keep the original feel of the house. The addition of plantation shutters is gorgeous, and I was so glad that they kept the hardwoods!

Our home has beautiful French doors, and front doors. I can’t wait to feature some of the decorations we have selected, especially the curtains.

From hardwoods to tile in the kitchen, the transition from room to room is very well done. The space is very open, which is what we wanted for entertaining purposes for dinners and fun parties. The cabinets are beautifully made, and don’t worry every drawer is “slow close” as Phil discovered. I can’t wait for the storage space that we now have!

This is going to be my happy place, I cannot wait! But what I also love is how the tile backsplash from the kitchen carries into our bathrooms as well!

This view is from our back deck into our large yard! We have already picked out some deck furniture, and on the brick plan to put out some entertainment pieces. Our wonderful friends gave us a Green Egg as a house warming present, I can’t wait to feature some recipes and cook for our friends!

It’s a quick post today as we set up the house, but there will be some exciting blog posts ahead as we decorate each room! Thank you so much for all of the sweet words and congratulations from each of you! It has meant the world!
