Finally, it’s Friday! In the matter of one week, we have been to pick parents up from the airport, flown out to Las Vegas, presented at a conference, flown back home, and went to work for the last few days. Whew! With everything going on, I didn’t get a chance to take as many photos as I would have liked, but I did get a chance to do a restaurant review the first night we were there. While in Las Vegas, we stayed at Caesar’s Palace. The room and service was great, the place is huge and has everything you need while staying. The first night, after flying all day, we were looking for comfort food, and we found Gordon Ramsey’s Pub and Grill located right there in Caesars.

The menu looked great, and they could seat us away from the casino and noise; the restaurant has a “patio” where you can sit near the slot machines and card tables, or you can sit further back for more of the restaurant feel.

I loved the decorations throughout the restaurant, and cozy seating helped to make us feel better after traveling all day!

We started with drinks, Phil got a craft beer and I got a margarita that was described as “Europe meets Mexico”. This delicious margarita includes patron anejo tequila, agave nectar, fresh lime juice, and cassis lambic. I loved every sip, and if it hadn’t 1 am East Coast time, I would have ordered a second one.

The menu had traditional pub food, fish and chips, steak and ale, and Shepherd’s pie, along with delicious grill options such as steak and duck burgers. Phil ordered the spicy wings, and I got the lobster and shrimp rolls on an amazing buttered bun. Of course, we got the truffle fries to split!

I could have eaten that meal a second and third time, it was amazing! I know Phil enjoyed his wings, he dove in before I could get a picture haha. If you’re in Vegas, we highly recommend checking out Gordon’s Ramsay’s place. The London feel, paired with delicious food will make for a wonderful dinner experience!

Do you have any favorite restaurants in Las Vegas?! We ate at the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, and at Bazaar Meats outside of the strip. I so wish I had taken more pictures, next travel trip you better believe there will be a lot!
